Sam Elam, Director of Media Manoeuvres, has been involved in the media and communications industry for over 20 years.
Sam started her career in magazine publishing, producing six national titles. Moving into the communications consultancy environment she spent eight years in management and senior consulting.
During this time Sam advised many of Australia’s major corporations on media and stakeholder communications strategies with a particular interest in issues and crisis management. Sam was part of the Arnott’s extortion threat, crisis communications management team.
Her industry background has brought her into regular, close contact with electronic and print media. She has worked closely with the media in communication strategies, events and other business activities as well as the management of prominent people.
Sam established Media Manoeuvres in 1997 as a specialist media consultancy in media training and reputation management. She now combines her media and corporate communications skills assisting clients in media skills training as well as media strategy, issues and crisis management.
